About Author

Rabindranath Tagore was born in Calcutta, India, on May 7, 1861. He was the son of Debendranath Tagore, a prominent philosopher and religious reformer. Throughout his childhood, Tagore was educated by tutors and wrote extensively, despite a marked disinterest for traditional schooling. In 1877, he sailed to England to study. He remained for just fourteen months, during which he was schooled in Brighton, East Sussex and at University College, where he studied law and attended lectures on English literature. He expressed dissatisfaction with the constraints of Western educational practices in England, however, and returned to India. Tagore died on August 7, 1941, in Calcutta.
Summary
The poem ‘Baby’s World’ is composed by Rabindranath Tagore . This poem shows freedoms of children, therefore, the speaker wishes to be a child or he wants to go back to his childhood days to enjoy it. He realizes that when he becomes a child, the stars in the sky talk to their life playing in nature freely on their own. He feels that the people who are dumb in their sensitivity may come to the children with the trays of toys that are artificial. But the speaker feels that such things can’t amuse children naturally. As children are as ignorant, honest, sincere, and free as nature . The speaker He wishes to be free without any limitations. He wishes to speak freely what he gets logical on the basis of the facts. It means that he wants to be free from any restraints to enjoy nature.
In this way, the poet wants to show the situation of children who are free in their life.
यो कविता Rabindranath Tagore द्वारा लेखिएको हो । प्रस्तुत कविताले बालकहरू जसरी स्वतन्त्र हुन्छन् त्यसरी नै स्वतन्त्र हुने कविको चाहनालाई देखाइएको छ । अर्थात् उनी आफ्नो जीवनलाई पछाडि फर्काएर बालकको अवस्थामा पुयाई स्वतन्त्र बनाउन चाहन्छन् । बालकसँग आकाशका ताराहरूलेकुराकानी गर्छन् भन्ने कुरा कविलाई महशुस हुन्छ । त्यसै गरी आकाशले आफ्नो अनुहार झुकाएर बादल र इन्द्रेणीको माध्यमले बालकहरूलाई मनोरञ्जन प्रदान गर्छन् । उनको यो भनाइले बालकहरू प्रकृतिमा स्वतन्त्र रूपमा खेलेर रमाइलो लिन्छन् भन्ने कुरा देखाउन खोजिएको छ प्राकृतिक रूपमा रमाइलो गर्न नजान्ने बालकहरूलाई कृत्रिम खेलौनाहरू दिने गर्छन, यो उनीहरूकोअसंवेदनशीलता हो । यस्ता अप्राकृतिक खेलौनाहरूले बालकहरूलाई प्राकृतिकरूपमा मनोरञ्जन प्रदान गर्दैनन् । बालकहरू इमानदार,भद्र, स्वतन्त्र र अनविज्ञ हुने हुनाले उनीहरू सधै सत्य कुरामात्र भन्ने गर्छन् । त्यसैले कवि पनि बालकको जीवन यावामा फर्किएर रमाउन चाहन्छन् । उनी सत्यमा आधारित तर्कको आधारमा स्वतन्त्रतालाई युझ्ने गर्छन् । अर्थात, उनी सबै किसिमका बन्धनबाट मुक्त हुन चाहन्छन्।

= The given line tells that when people are free on their own and drive themselves freely without any restrictions, they are said to be really independent.
